Unfortunately due to insufficient confirmed interest we’ve decided to cancel the training day this Saturday (January 23). Our apologies to Rosie and Mia who said they were coming. Its just not worth 2 or 3 leaders giving up a Saturday to train 2 people. The next training day is February 21.
Bronzes and Silvers – you must attend at least one training day before your expeditions in April so we can check/brush up your practical navigation skills.
West Devon Open Group have 2 Silver (15 yrs +) who would like to do a horse riding expedition, but need to find at least 2 more Silvers. Riders must be experienced and on their own horse, or have access to a horse on loan. Current DofE participants will need to transfer to the WDOG for the period of the expedition.
Their first meeting for riders is on Tues 2 February, 7pm, at Kingdon House in Tavistock. If you know anyone who might be interested, please ask them to email Mary Harper at mary00harper@btopenworld.com as soon as possible for further information.
