Gold

We ran a successful Open Gold Expedition this summer with 2 teams in Snowdonia.  The practice was in the Brecon Beacons.  The locations are chosen by the participants.  Previous qualifying expeditions have taken place in Brecon Beacons, Mid Wales, Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales.  Planning for the Gold expedition next year will start in December/January.  If you are interested please contact us ASAP.

Silver

This year we had 3 silver teams.

• 1 new team who transferred from a school where the DofE leader left before they could do their expeditions.  Their practice was on South Dartmoor in April and their qualifying was on the Jurassic Coast in May;
• 1 team made up of 2 from the EOAC and 3 of their friends from a school DofE group who are doing a cycling expedition. Their practice was on the Jurassic Coast in May and their qualifying in Mid Devon between Dartmoor and Exmoor in July
• 1 team who have did their practice expedition last year and will be doing their qualifyingon Exmoor at the start of the October

Bronze

We had 2 Bronze teams this year

• One team started December 2016 and completed their practice and qualifying expeditions in the Summer Term.
• One team (again from a school where they’ve stopped running expeditions) who will be completing their practice and qualifying expeditions during the Autumn te
