SUMMARY:Navigation Training Day
DESCRIPTION:Second navigation training day of the year\, suitable for all levels of experience. We will be holding one of these approximately once a month.  The terrain will vary from farmland\, heath to moorland.  This one is the moorland around Haytor. \nStart and finish at Haytor Visitor Centre Car Park (the bottom one with the toilets). \nThis is a chance to practice your map reading and compass work.  For those of you who are more experienced we will focus on micro-navigation and navigation strategy. \nYou will not be walking long distances and you will spend quite a lot of time standing still\, so bring waterproofs\, wear warm clothes and bring hats and gloves. Also bring packed lunch\, drink and snacks. \nPlease note if we have less than 4 people signed up by Thursday 1 March the event will be cancelled.
