SUMMARY:Navigation Training Day
DESCRIPTION:First navigation training day of the year\, suitable for all levels of experience. We will be holding one of these approximately once a month.  The terrain will vary from farmland\, heath to moorland.  This one is the heathland of Woodbury Common. \nStart and finish at Four Firs Car Park which is on the Yettington side of the B3180 and B3179 crossroads.  http://tinyurl.com/yc7ezjan \nThis is a chance to put into practice your map reading and compass work.  For those of you who are more experienced we will focus on micro-navigation and navigation strategy. \nYou will not be walking long distances and you will spend quite a lot of time standing still\, so bring waterproofs\, wear warm clothes and bring hats and gloves. Also bring packed lunch\, drink and snacks. \nPlease note if we have less than 4 people signed up by Thursday 25 January the event will be cancelled.
